Recently the Omega Speedmaster "First OMEGA in Space” watch is launched by the prominent Swiss brand Omega in order to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the first Speedmaster that orbited the earth in 1962, which is also well known as the Moonwatch. The screw-in case back of this watch is engraved with words "THE FIRST OMEGA IN SPACE” and "OCTOBER 3, 1962” and the edition number.
This Omega Professional watch comes with a classic looking, varnished black dial, which is adorned with white transferred indexes, hour markers and hour and minute hands coated with Super-LumiNova. The dial is protected with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. There are three subsidiary dials on the dial, a 30 minutes counter at the 3 o’clock position, a 12 hours chrono counter at the 6 o’clock position and a small seconds sub-dial at the 9 o’clock position. Fitted with a black aluminium bezel ring with the tachymeter scale, this watch is available with a brown leather strap with beige stitching.
